Sketch Odyssey East Bay—Preservation Park at FLAX, Oakland is an invitation to go sketch outdoors and on location, capturing what you see from direct observation. We are partnering with FLAX Art & Design to offer this one-day, 90-minute workshop that combines art instruction with the goal of encouraging students to begin a sketch practice of their own. This workshop introduces students to basic concepts in drawing and painting while creating opportunities to connect with others in the outdoors.
